Book Blogger Appreciation Week (BBAW) Is Coming And My Intent To Actively Participate

Hello everyone! Book Blogger Appreciation Week (BBAW) is coming and my intent is to actively participate if my blog is selected. Why you may ask am I announcing this? Because, I’m proud to say, I made the shortlist of blogs selected.

Book Blogger Appreciation Week (BBAW) is an exciting event dedicated to celebrating the vibrant community of book bloggers. It’s a fantastic opportunity for bloggers to connect, share their passion for books, and appreciate each other’s contributions. The 2010 BBAW is scheduled to take place from September 13 to 17.

During this week, participants can look forward to engaging activities that highlight the book blogging world (Yes we are a special breed..):

1. Daily Blogging Themes

Each day of BBAW features a specific theme to inspire blog posts. For instance, on Monday, bloggers might share their “First Treasure,” discussing the book that ignited their love for reading.

2. Giveaways and Contests

Many bloggers host giveaways and participate in contests, spreading the joy of reading and connecting with new followers.

3. Interview Swap

The “Interview Swap” is a highlight of BBAW (This one is my favorite). Bloggers are paired up to interview each other, providing a unique opportunity to learn about fellow bloggers and discover new blogs. It’s also a great way to make friends in case you’re wondering.

4. Community Connections

BBAW emphasizes building connections. Bloggers can link up with others who share similar interests, exchange recommendations, and offer mutual support.

If my blog is chosen, I plan to actively participate by:

• Daily Updates: Sharing reflections and updates on the events and discussions during BBAW.
• Interview Swap: Engaging in the Interview Swap to introduce readers to another remarkable book blogger.
• Giveaways and Special Posts: Hosting giveaways and creating special content to celebrate our shared love for books and the blogging community.
